I was kayaking the Mercer Slough and happened upon this green heron taking a bath.

Hello and welcome! Make yourself at home, look around my galleries and enjoy. My name is Erin Thomsen but my close friends and family call me ET. I was ET before ET phoned home! While I was thinking of a signature for my photography I toyed with different styling using that moniker. Eventually I settled on BYET because, well, all photographs are taken BY me, ET.
